The release of toy testing samples fills the gap in the field of toy testing
According to the official website of the Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, recently, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the National Standardization Administration approved the release of [2016 No. 9] Announcement, the first in the field of toy testing in my country developed by the Guangdong Inspection and Quarantine Technology Center. Two national standard samples-'Standard Samples of Migrable Elements in Toy Paint Powder' (No.: GSB 16-3353-2016) were officially approved and announced.
Transportable elements are the most important test items in toy safety. For many years, testing agencies and toy enterprise laboratories have needed relevant standard samples for quality control. However, due to The standard sample is used to simulate the gastric juice migration test. During the migration process, the migration amount, sample uniformity, stability and other influencing factors are many and difficult to control, which makes sample preparation very difficult. Prior to this, the relevant national standard samples have not been released in China. Although they are sold on the international market, the prices are high and the supply is unstable. After dozens of formulations, process tests and years of technical research, the Toy Laboratory of the Technology Center, a well-known toy paint manufacturer in the United Nations, finally developed a standard sample that meets the relevant technical requirements. At present, the national standard samples have been issued to the outside world, filling the gap of the national standard samples in the field of toy testing in my country. The toy laboratory of the technical center is stepping up to apply for the certificate and strive to provide it to relevant laboratories as soon as possible.
In addition, the technical center is also carrying out 'standard samples of phthalate plasticizers in polyvinyl chloride plastics' (S2015151) and 'standard samples of total lead content in toy paint powder' (S2015152) The development of two national standard samples is expected to be completed in 2017. The development of these two standard samples will further enrich the types of national standard samples in the field of toy testing in my country, and is of great significance to the comprehensive improvement of the level of toy testing institutions in my country.
