In the specific sub-items, the sales of Bandai Namco’s “online entertainment department” in the previous fiscal year were 328.79 billion yen, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%; operating profit was 438.79 Billion yen, down 7.7% year-on-year. It is reported that Bandai focuses on the development of children's toys. In fiscal year 2020, well-known IP toys and peripheral products such as the 'Dragon Ball' series, 'Kamen Rider' series, and 'Super Clan' series have grown steadily. At the same time, Bandai Namco also mentioned the sales of its various IPs: Evergreen's 'Dragon Ball' series and 'One Piece' series are developing steadily. The latest works this fiscal year 'Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot' and ' 'Blood Eater Code' has achieved good results. The sales of the previously launched 'Dragon Ball' series, 'Tekken 7' and 'Dark Souls' series are also very stable, and they are very popular in overseas markets.
The top five IP sales rankings are 'Dragon Ball' (134.9 billion yen), 'Mobile Suit Gundam' (78.1 billion yen), 'One Piece' (34.9 billion yen), and 'Fake Masked Rider (31.2 billion yen), 'Naruto' (13 billion yen). It can be seen from the revenue that Dragon Ball is still Bandai's largest IP.
